  1. Dan says:

    Hello everyone.

I do not understand what’s wrong about announcing one’s departure.

When I say that I am thinking to those who left before myself.
There are those leaving the room slowly, step by step, pretending nobody is noticing, and those like myself that simply get up and say goodbye.

Before leaving I would like to say a thanks to all those involved in the making of this website and all its users. Especially the ones that shared this blog with me for these last years.

I have been meaning to do this for months, but I kept procrastinating.
I feel like I need to do something different, and so this is my journey’s end.

    Thank you guys.

    Dan.

  2. Tania says:

    Hi,
    Dear Dan,
I don’t think you can leave us after a such long period of collaboration.
We are waiting for every new post of yours. You are one of the best our blog friend.
Helping to go on our blog, we are a real team together with our teachers and Emiliano, Peter, Aecio and other good blog friends.
I have mentioned just Emiliano, Peter and Aecio as they are writing every day.
For instance, I have said that this month I have some personal problems and I can’t read and post.
Imagine! I can’t help reading and posting.
I am sure that you can’t leave us and our teachers.

As there are more than 160,000 listeners I think it deserves the effort of writing.
I think many of us would desire to post, but it takes time, effort and study. It is easier just to listen to or reading.
I think we can help on those that have no time for posting.

    I love you all,

    Tania

  3. emiliano says:

Dan, I am here just since the begining of the blog. If you look the first note it could be written by somebody called
    emiliano.
After so many years, as you said, lot of blogers have came and have gone, step by step or suddenly without saying
    anything.
After telling this, I think it is not a good idea Dan, ¿why? if I may ask you.
There is time for nearly everything if we share our time correctly and you are like an institution here my friend as
    Tania said.

Take your time, as I have done from time to time, and it is possible you may return sooner than later.
It is not necessay to say good bye friends, better say so long or see you later, that´s all.

I have passed by the same like you my friend Dan, may be somehow tired of seeing there is not too much people
whoo writes, but I agree with Tania, it could be really very difficult for them just to write.
It is easy for you, for Peter, for Aecio, for Tania and other, and its easy for me too.

Just a little effort from time to time, that´s all my dear, I don´t like the idea of not seeing you here so please
    DON´T leave.

    emiliano

  4. emiliano says:

Dan, we are few, very few in fact ¿why? I don´t really know but what is true it is that the blog little by little has gone
to less till the point that there are six or seven, being optimist, the persons that writes here.
For this reason I think we have to resist till the end, till the moment Jeff or Lucy said it is over, as the teachers and
owners of the web site I do think they are the ones who may say that, meanwhile, Dan, Tania, Peter, Aecio, Hilario, Mari Carmen, Paul Paquin, emiliano and all other friends who could read or write here.

It is necessary to say, like Gloria Gaynor:

Oh no, not I, I will survive
Oh, as long as I know how to love, I know I’ll stay alive
I’ve got all my life to live
And I’ve got all my love to give and I’ll survive
    I will survive, hey, hey1

It took all the strength I had not to fall apart
Kept trying hard to mend the pieces of my broken heart
And I spent oh-so many nights just feeling sorry for myself
    I used to cry
But now I hold my head up high and you see me
    Somebody new

    Do you think I’d crumble
Did you think I’d lay down and die?1

Oh no, not I, I will survive
Oh, as long as I know how to love, I know I’ll stay alive
I’ve got all my life to live
And I’ve got all my love to give and I’ll survive
    I will survive

Oh no, not I, I will survive
Oh, as long as I know how to love, I know I’ll stay alive
I’ve got all my life to live
And I’ve got all my love to give and I’ll survive
    I will survive
    I will survive

It is necessary To Survive, to remain, just to live and persist as long as possible
    dear Dan.
Think you are necessary here in this blog, as I am, or which ever of us that remains
    for so many years.
Don´t say goodbye, say see you soon friends I need some rest.

    emiliano

  5. Peter says:

Here comes The second draft of what I posted just know
I just went trough it and gave it a tweak of two

    U know
I have always been telling my friends that if the quardernnial excercise is to be done by Mr Trump ,Canad needs to prepare itself for eventualities.
Guess what, Canada is doing it.
The government is taking precautionary steps to cushion the blow.
U know to soften the impact!!!
However , in all fiarness , I must say , it is not like that all Mr Trump has in his agenda is partisan.
As a matter of fact ,some of the policies he is pushing are totally in concerguent with Canada’s , like reform border-crossing
However , the biggest issue ,I think , that Trudeau’s administration would be head to head with its US counterpart is NAFTA.
Mr Trump is on the path to reshape the NAFTA deal, or even worse to scrap NAFTA. Let me tell you my friends, the implications of that is not exactly Roesy for Canada, in general.

That being said , Let’s face it ,Every country out there should consider a wide-ranging preparation ,regardless what side will take the behemoth office.
Even , with Hillary in the oval offic , Canada still must take some political measures.

No matter who we will see in the Oval Office this coming January , the implications will be big ,and they will not always be aligned with our likings

    Well , true!
We are the neighbouring country , we will feel the fallout first hand.

Well , please let’s don’t gloss over the fact that our leader ” Justin Trudeau didn’t win the election with just his charming smile. He is an upstanding guy who looks into the future and takes the best course of action that is just and towards the advancement of his people and his country

    🙂
    Pete
