    Hi everyone.

Watching the 2015 Miami Dolphins Cheer Calendar Show.

What can I say? I am speechless.

    Bye.

    Hi Dan

Thank you, it’s very kind of you to give me a thumbsUp. You know what I mean.

It’s a nice surprise and yes I’m very happy. Thanks again.

This weekend I watched “Invictus”, a film directed by Clint Eastwood. After the film, I searched the Internet about “Invictus” the poem, Nelson Mandela, and the 1995 Rugby World Cup to find out more about them.

I then learned “Invictus” is a short Victorian poem by the English poet William Ernest Henley which inspired Nelson Mandela.

I always love Clint Eastwood’s films, this one is the best I’ve watched so far. Nonetheless, I read from the Wikipedia that:

“Mandela is depicted in the movie Invictus presenting a copy of the poem to Francois Pienaar, captain of the national South African rugby team, for inspiration during the Rugby World Cup — though at the actual event he gave Pienaar a text of the “man in the arena” passage from Theodore Roosevelt’s Citizenship in a Republic speech delivered in France in 1910.”

So, Clint Eastwood could “mix and match” events like that? I nearly believed the film!

At least it made me watched a rugby match and start to understand a little bit about rugby.

I hope you all have had a nice weekend.

    Best Regards

    lili:)

    U know ,
There are only so many hours I have to learn English.u know I have to work for a living.

I spend 8 hours at work everyday that I would have rather study English.

U know , It is my passion

    🙂

  6. Aecio Flavio Perim says:

    Hello, Peter. Good study.
    Aecio

  7. peter says:

    Thanks Acieo ,

Well, I don’t get to study these days
Well? , here is the thing :
I m snowed under with work
    It is so typical !!
Almost every year ,towards the end of the year ,as I was told , the compony I currently work for gets a high volumes of orders coming in.
    So we did this year.
I m telling you , the work load is overwhelming.

And all i hear all day long at work is: look alive people, we have dead lines to meet. Let’s go !!

    Every night ,
I end up taking some work home.
    Sometimes I m up till 11 or 12 working.

We r doing it all because we are expected
To complete the project on time.
U know mega companies needs their holiday season promotions ready before christmas and new year frenzy shopping starts.

It is a very tense ,busy time of the year for us.so no spare time for me till the time is done which is 10 days into December. Then things starting to slowdown
So ,until then no study for me.

    🙂
    Pete

  8. peter says:

    Hey everyone.

I would like to give you this picture of pure sweetness that I experience
any time I am passing by a nearby field.
A man has in there three lovely small sized dogs and from a little while back a small cute goat.

Any time I am walking by the goat start calling with the sweetest voice ever.
And you know, that make me happy. You guys should hear that sweet voice of it. It will meltdown your heart.

I am going to leave you with this mental picture.

    Bye

  13. peter says:

    You know
    The blog gives me confidence.
Spurred on by blogging here , I go out there and talk my way through the day.
Before Eslpod blog days , I was too timid to test my Engkish skills out there
we are comunicating here, we put what we have learned to test . So , I figured why shouldn’t I do it at a larger scale.
So , overcomed the fear, I went out there and talked away. never stopped since !

    🙂
