  3. Dan says:

    Hey fellow humans.

    How was your weekend?
Mine was really simple. Did some cleaning around the house and my car.
The rest of the time was spent looking videos and in a vegetative state.
Today, Monday, I am home because I am working the night shift.
Hope this message finds everyone fine, thanks

    Dan.

  4. Aecio Flavio Perim says:

Hi Dan. I am in good conditions, healthy and happy. How the use to be unhappy? If I want to live more than a hundred years I have to have care about living away from stress, eating good food, having good sleep, being stuck with family, friends. So you have to do if you want to die in old age. When you say you work on shift I remember my time when I used to work like this way. Not bad.
    Aecio

  5. Dan says:

    Hey Guys! sorry me again.

The fact is that I was looking at a video trailer and at the beginning of the video there was a Mark Twain’s quote.

Now, I do not know from where the quote was taken, if it really is Twain’s or if himself copied it from anyone.

Based on my own experience I think it’s a sharable thought. Even if I am convinced that as anything else it can be seen from many perspectives.

Here’s the quote: “Anger is an acid that can do harm to the vessel in which it is stored than on anything in which it is poured”.

What do you guys think about it? do you agree? Have you ever experienced that in your lives?

    Thanks and enjoy your Monday.

Ps. The game is Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain.

  6. Aecio Flavio Perim says:

My understanding about the quote is that when the acid stays in the vessel it does its harm for more time than when it is poured. Besides, when poured, you can take it off using other chemical, like an alcaline, like caustic soda. Interesting issue, Dan. Don’t keep anger inside you for you can be destroyed by it.
    Aecio

  7. Aecio Flavio Perim says:

I am checking the time now. In your place it is 12:12 and here it is 17:14. Almost five hours difference.
    Aecio

  8. Michelle says:

    Hi,
This phrase, in a slightly different wording is also frequently attributed to Mark Twain, but I think Senecca probably said it first.T o me ,this quote means that if you bottle up your anger you are the container , and it will do more damage to you than to the person at whom you are angry.aHave you ever felt that anger day after day after day, just eating at you? I have, and have learned to not hold anger for any longer than necessary. I try to get rid of the anger as soon as possible, and by so doing, limit the damage it’s acidic effects can do to me. I hope you will consider a similar outlook.Where can I apply this in my life?
“What did I say to piss you off this time, baby?” is a lyric from a Blues Brother’s cover of an old Willie Mabon song called “I don’t know“. Some people are just volatile. You are going to have to figure out how to manage their anger as well (or at least to mitigate it as best as possible).

  9. Tania says:

    Hi Michelle,
Thank you for your post. Maybe you can write us more often.

  10. Tania says:

    Hi Dan,
According to Wikipedia, you are right, it’s a Mark Twain”s quote.
Yes, anger is an acid that can kill.

“You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger.”

    Budda Quote

  11. Tania says:

    Hi,
May I share with you some quotes on anger?

“But anger is like fire. It burns it all clean.”

    Maya Angelou Quote

  12. Tania says:

    Hi,

“In times of great stress or adversity, it’s always best to keep busy, to plow your anger
and your energy into something positive.”

    Lee Iaccoca Quote

  13. Tania says:

    Hi,
    Very good topic “Aerosmith”.
At last I know a hard rock band and some of their songs.
Steven Tyler is so, so ugly…, maybe this is his charm, and of course his great voice.

By the way, Aerosmith performed a great concert in Russia last week.

  14. Tania says:

    Hi,
I can’t imagine how Liv Tyler is so beautiful and her father, Steven Tyler, so ugly.
I like Armageddon, the movie, with Liv Tyler and Bruce Willis.
I understood that Bruce Willis fell in love with Liv Tyler .
