  1. Dan says:

    Hey Hi.

Thanks to the search tool, the archive and who created it, I was able to find and listen to for “Blue Laws”.

As I was looking some people discussing the building of a center for a certain religious group in the Seattle area, one of the speaker
came out with the term Blue Laws.

I have found a good explanation of what that is on one old EC.

As I was listening to the explanation of it I have facepalmed myself so many times.

Anyways, thank you for providing us with that useful/handy tool.

  6. Emiliano says:

alireza, I understand you perfectly well, it happened the same to me some years ago when my mother was dead
and I listenedt to Jeff´s voice every moment since them He is my dear friend.

My English was good listening to Jeff and Lucy for years but being so good this wasn´t the most important
subject, despite it was really very good.

Congratulation alireza, now your people and your country Iran will have more necessary things after the
    international treatment.

I do think it was time already for that. My best, emilliano

  7. peter says:

    Hey Dan,
I could’nt make out the abbreviation part.
What do u mean by it ?
Near as I can tell ,It must be shot for sth.
What does it stand for ?

    Pete

  8. Dan says:

    Hey Pete

The acronym stands for Men Going Their Own Way pronounced
    Mag~Tao.
It’s kind of a movement that I just discovered, so I don’t know well.
I gather that they advice men not to marry or even have a relationship with a woman. Basically you stay single.
For what I read and see so far, it seems to be formed especially by men that had a bad experiences with women.
You know, like divorced that were left in their underwear after a bad divorce, stuff like that.
They kind of are the opposite pole of the crazy feminist movement.
So what? Do you see yourself as a MGTOW

  9. peter says:

Boy ,I have authority issues.i need help.

My boss Wanted me in his office to debrief ,and I let him have it!
I can’t help it. It gets under my skin when the top brass boss me around.
I don’t like to answer to anybody.

What makes it scary is ,I m on probation period!
Chances are I am screwed !!
    I don’t give a damn
I couldn’t take it laying down
    I moved without my right
No orientation sessions and they give me grief
    Hell with them.
At least , I have the brass to give then Defiantly a finger!

I still have enough saving to get one day to another.
I suspect ,he is gonna give me the boot!!

    Pete

  10. Dan says:

    Hey Pete.

You definitely need to get more humble especially at a new workplace. That’s how it works.
