    Hi!
“The innocent and the beautiful have no enemy but time.”

    William Butler Yeats Quote

  2. Peter says:

    Guys,
Referring to my previous blog post with regard to “PDFReader”, I just discovered a feature that is neat ,another words, sick!!!

U know, when you click on an episod ,say , English Caffe 384. Well, English Caffe opens so you can read the lesson. While you have the lesson on ,if you look down , you see a menu bar right at the button of the page with some images. One of the is a whole square with a check mark right in the middle.
If you click on that a sub menue bar opens.the first image on the left side on the sub-menue bar is an image of a pair of scissor with a paper under neat. Clicking on that moving the page you have on to a new page.
At the buttom of this new page you have ” play ,fast forward ,and rewind”
If you press play on that page ,the page starts scrolling down automatically, as you read the page
Now,if you get to the page where the actual Jeff’s lecture starts ,it is the part that is cool ,you press start as Jeff start talking and the page start scrolling down with the exact same speed Jeff speaks.the function enables you to follow Jeff as he speaks on Learning guid. you can follow Jeff on learning guide as the page is scrolling down . It is prefect!!!
It is sick!! I mean very cool
I did it with English caffe 384. It helped me stay focused as Jeff lecturing.

    Perfect in every way.

  3. Peter says:

    Guys ,
Sorry ,I forgot to mention that u can adjust the speed at which the text scrolls up. U can manually make it go faster or slower.
Mine was by default at the same speed as Jeff’s rate of speed.

    Best ,

Ja, Ja, shy? No, that was not my way….boring in a party? it depends of I could found

    very very much.
Waiting for your news Segio…..? which ever place you like to send me yours.

  6. Peter says:

    Sorry , Emiliano

I have no clue what you are talking about ?

  7. Tania says:

Hi! I am so glad as I could see the movie”ARGO”, the winner of 2012 UK’s BAFTA (The British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards)…A movie based on a true story.
Last Sunday I saw the movie “The Words” at the cinema.
We translated the title as “The Thief of Words”. I agree with this beeing the idea of the movie.
I think it is inspired by Hemingway’s life. His wife lost some Hemingway’s manuscripts.
Interesting movie, but too sad in my opinion.

  8. Tania says:

    Hi!
A Happy New Year to all those who celebrate the Chinese New Year 2013 Snake Year,
a year of prosperity and peace.

    Best wishes,

    Tania

  9. emiliano says:

  10. Peter says:

    Oh,
    Sorry man,
    I feel stupid 🙂
I didn’t know you guys started a blog.
    Good thinking on your part
The part I don’t know yet is:
Am I communicating with senior Emiliano ( joined eslpod way before us)
Or junior Emiliano ( joined eslpod after )

    Thanks

  11. Peter says:

I suppose we should wish Betty a happy new year

    Right?

I understand she is of a Chinese descent

  12. emiliano says:

    JA, JA, JA Peter….

I am old emiliano, the senior, the other has disappeared without any clue (just a pity and I don´t know the reason), so be ahead
boy, see if you like my blog, the same have done friends like Sergio, Dan, Betty or even our dear Jeff.

Do you know Spanis?…..I don´t know
Do you know English?…. I know you do….

No problem, some are in English and some are in Spanish.
That is the way a frustrated writer, like me the senior one, fill his time.

Where are you emiliano junior? the first one I have known and you
has dissapeared of our best English site….every one has their reasons.

My best to you dear Peter, the same to you Dear Tania.

    emiliano “senior”…………..gatufo

  13. Betty says:

Thank you Tania, Thank you Peter, for mentioning the Chinese New Year of the Snake 2013.

The Chinese New Year Day, also called the Lunar New Year Day happens on different day of the solar calendar each year.

Both the Chinese and the Korean celebrate the Lunar New Year which happened on Sunday 10 February 2013 this year.

Some people in some jobs are very happy for the lunar new year’s arrival. Because they sometimes get double or even more pay ie two or more months’ salary instead of one at the end of the year.

I had never worked in a job that paid me two months’ salary in one month before. So I never knew the feeling of receiving more money than usual.

Anyway, I would like to thank you Tania and Peter again for your kind wishes.

‘New Spring’ is what we used to describe our New Year. Spring is the first season in the four seasons. A new life begin again for everyone and every living thing on earth.

I am very happy another year of good learning is ahead of me.

    Enjoy Continuous Education Everyone!

    Best Regards

    Betty 🙂
