  1. emiliano says:

Leonard Cohen was an optimist who wrote this song
    on 2009.
Now it has happened just the contrary so the best to
do by my side it is just having a long retirement of
    silence.
I going to wait and to see. Meanwhile my hand
will be quiet and my mouth will be closed.
I don´t like what happens in EE.UU., so be off
emiliano and write as less as possible.
I don´t want to hurt anybody with my opinions
    and criticisms.

    +++++++

It’s coming through a hole in the air
From those nights in Tiananmen Square
    It’s coming from the feel
    That this ain’t exactly real
Or it’s real, but it ain’t exactly there
    From the wars against disorder
From the sirens night and day
From the fires of the homeless
From the ashes of the gay
Democracy is coming to the USA
It’s coming through a crack in the wall
On a visionary flood of alcohol
    From the staggering account
Of the Sermon on the Mount
Which I don’t pretend to understand at all
    It’s coming from the silence
On the dock of the bay,
From the brave, the bold, the battered
    Heart of Chevrolet
Democracy is coming to the USA

It’s coming from the sorrow in the street
The holy places where the races meet
    From the homicidal bitchin’
That goes down in every kitchen
To determine who will serve and who will eat
    From the wells of disappointment
Where the women kneel to pray
For the grace of God in the desert here
    And the desert far away:
Democracy is coming to the USA

    Sail on, sail on
    Oh mighty ship of State
    To the shores of need
    Past the reefs of greed
    Through the Squalls of hate
Sail on, sail on, sail on, sail on

    It’s coming to America first
The cradle of the best and of the worst
It’s here they got the range
    And the machinery for change
And it’s here they got the spiritual thirst
    It’s here the family’s broken
And it’s here the lonely say
That the heart has got to open
    In a fundamental way
Democracy is coming to the USA

It’s coming from the women and the men
Oh baby, we’ll be making love again
We’ll be going down so deep
    The river’s going to weep,
And the mountain’s going to shout Amen
It’s coming like the tidal flood
    Beneath the lunar sway
    Imperial, mysterious
    In amorous array
Democracy is coming to the USA

    Sail on, sail on
    O mighty ship of State
    To the shores of need
    Past the reefs of greed
    Through the squalls of hate
Sail on, sail on, sail on, sail on

I’m sentimental, if you know what I mean
I love the country but I can’t stand the scene
And I’m neither left or right
    I’m just staying home tonight
Getting lost in that hopeless little screen
But I’m stubborn as those garbage bags
    As time cannot decay
I’m junk but I’m still holding up this little wild bouquet
Democracy is coming to the USA
    To the USA

    Songwriters
    LEONARD COHEN

Be in peace L.Cohen one of our last dreamer reality is
    absolute different.

  3. emiliano says:

This is me now, just my hymn:

    A winter’s day
    In a deep and dark
    December
    I am alone
Gazing from my window to the streets below
On a freshly fallen silent shroud of snow
    I am a rock
    I am an island

    I’ve built walls
    A fortress deep and mighty
    That none may penetrate
I have no need of friendship, friendship causes pain
    It’s laughter and it’s loving I disdain
    I am a rock
    I am an island

    Don’t talk of love
But I’ve heard the words before
    It’s sleeping in my memory
I won’t disturb the slumber of feelings that have died
If I never loved I never would have cried
    I am a rock
    I am an island

    I have my books
And my poetry to protect me
I am shielded in my armor
Hiding in my room, safe within my womb
I touch no one and no one touches me
    I am a rock
    I am an island

And a rock feels no pain
    And an island never cries

    Written by Paul Simon

I´ll see you after a long time or not, who knows?

    emiliano

  4. Tania says:

    Hi,

Dear Emiliano, I can’t understand exactly your words, “I’ll see you after a long time or not, who knows?”
Do you want to leave our blog team?
I like your opinions, your thoughts, your courage of writing, your experience of life in a big city, in a big country…
From contradictions we can see the truth.
Please stay with us! We miss you. The same to Dan.

    Best wishes,

    Tania

  5. emiliano says:

My dear friend Tania, you have a very high opinion about me and it is like balm
    to me.

Being you I would try to give you some
reasons with a poem based on Paul Simon song.

    Being a rock I don´t feel pain
Being a rock I have not opinions
Being a rock I do not cry
Being a rock I am protected
Being a rock I do not need any body
Being a rock I do not need to write

Being an island I am isolated
Being an island I do not suffer
Being an island I have not quarrels
Being an island I am not criticized
Being an island I have not to please anyone

Such a long long list of reasons to have
just a rest and think about some complicated
    subjects.

That´s all dear Tania, a rest, long or short
in advance I do not know how much I need.

    With love to you. emiliano

  6. Aecio Flavio Perim says:

  7. Tania says:

    Hi,
Dear Emiliano, first of all, you are not a rock, you are our dear blog friend, Emiliano, with a lot of
blog friends together with our teachers.
For all of us you have to be with us as you are the soul of our blog.
Please don’t leave us! At least a sign from time to time to know that you are all right.
Who will write us so many news, poems, about Gatuffo?
Who will tell me that I am your “little poet”? Thank you for all poems.
    We are waiting for you.
    We miss you.
Still we respect your choice, your silence.

With love to you, dear Emiliano,

    Tania

  8. emiliano says:

Thanks very much Tania and Aecio, as one said “rectify could be
    a wise attitude”.

You have been so persuasive that emiliano is going to follow here
as he has been since the beginning of the blog.
Thanks Tania, and Aecio, your words have been such a good reason
    to change my mind.

Here I am and remain, thanks very grateful for you words that have
been very important for me in these moments.

In other note I´ll tell you what is happening round me, very sad
news that affects persons I love very much.

  9. Mary Carmen says:

    Hello everybody

Long time, I had lost a set of keys but I finally found them.

I just wanted to share with you a thought. I mean, I wonder if creativity is the same as plagiarism. On one hand, it must be considered clearly as a case of corruption, though sometimes it is a happy corruption when it doesn’t become known.
(Do what you preach, do what you preach). But on the other hand, plagiarism and even specially auto-plagiarism, could be a way of remark or insist on an important idea.

    Bye for now! 🙂

  10. emiliano says:

Well, auto-plagiarism it could be accepted if you want to remark or insist on an important or not so important idea.
In fact writing so much in my own blog I have done it some time, why not?
It´s my blog, it´s my own idea, and It has been done by myself, so yes I think it could be right.

Creativity it is absolutely different but having in mind that never is total thcreativity as we are influenced by
    other.

Watching movies you could see that nearly everything is invented by the old master, and even photos are invented too
when we see the old great painters.
Having in mind that it is very difficult to be original, our mind is full of sights, books, stories that have influence if
we want to be original in our creativity.
I try to be, but I know I am influenced for a long life reading, watching, and observing other works.

Nice idea that gives a lot on controversies and too much to talk.

    Regards. emiliano

  11. Mary Carmen says:

    I agree with you, emiliano.

In fact, if the source is mentioned, that is not plagiarism at all.

Otherwise, remarking something doesn’t necesarilly mean that it is important. Perhaps, it is just for fun, 😉

    Best wishes,
    Mari Carmen

  12. emiliano says:

    What a blog is?
    About my own blog:

Four years or something more was the time when I thought no body was going to read a single word of this …what?

Blog?, it is how now everyone call this kind of writing on the web. Years before people wrote with a pencil in a paper book, now there is not pen, not book. Who could be interested in which ever single thing we have in mind?

A good question, but now that I could see nearly nine hundred thousand of visit in this my blog there is something like my own responsibility to the readers is high, and even what I could say has to be some how interesting, at least for the kind people who
read what I write now and them.

I was opened by my sister Eva and at the beginning it seems so incredible that anybody could be interested about what I could
    say or write.

No matter the subject, which ever subject I could touch it seems to be interest for lot of people out there, first in EE.UU. and second with great difference to the low my own country.

Yes Tania, you could see I am very busy with other different blogs that this one ESL, the first I started seven or eight years ago.

By the way in your country Romania I have lot of visitors, and always I think may be Tania is one of them?.
Exactly 132 visits on this month from Romania.
What do you think dear Tania?.

By your nice words that were so grateful to me here I am dear.

    emiliano
