    Hello faceless/virtual companions

I had a lovely exchange with Aecio tis week, and even if I do not share his view, at least now I know him better.

I understand anyone of us has his/er own style of writing and sharing personal stuff. I would encourage everyone to share more. I would love that.

I find that sharing personal stuff it’s better for my learning process. Of course by personal I mean to a certain degree.

Anyone draw his/her own line where he/she fells comfortable.

I will give an example of what i mean. This week I saw a video that touched me. And that tells who and what I am little bit more.
You know, like a piece of a puzzle.

The video in titled “4850 Feet Below: The Hunt for Dark Matter”

It is about scientists trying to detect this matter that it is like the wind. We see the effect of it but we cannot see it.

This detector is in the US in an ex coal mine 1500 meters deep into the earth.

In my opinion the only fact that we were able to make a hole in the ground like that is mind blowing.

But as much as I like holes that is not what moved me.

What touched me was looking at these fellow humans trying to understand for the benefit of us all.

Understand what? what we have been trying to do from ever., What there is out there, how it work, why it work that way and countless other questions.

And again, I heard so many: “we do not know” and that alone is beautiful. Admitting that I do not know.

Ok, I think I am done. Bye, take care.

    Hi folks ,

Today is thanks giving here. I m invited to over to a big thanks giving party thrown by my best friend: my gal pal.
She is the best cook ever.she always makes gourmet dishes. Her specialty is stuff turkey though.
I have had anything since yesterday so I can have enough room in my stomach for the being eating:)))
I have to do some prep work though. I m going swimming. I m
Planing on doing 20 laps. Swiining always workes up my appetite.
This year she extent her part to her work friends too. Every year she just cook for close family and friends. She didn’t even invited her extended families. But this year around she is pulling out all the stops. She has roughly around 35 guest and i was in shopping committee. I was given a laundry list of items to buy two days ago. Well , I checked off all the items in the list. I mean I bought them all and deliver them at their door on Thursday night. It usually takes two or three days to single handedly prepare food for 35 people or so. U know ,the problem here is ,her thanksgiving parties are very popular among friends and foes :))
There for ,nobody sends their regrets when they recieve her invitation through email.
Every body RVSP her invitation. In fact ,I suspect all her friends is looking forward to it.
So , she always anticipate more people gonna show up than the number of people invited. Well, it is always the case. Every year she ends up with more people. So precaousiously , she always prepare food for more.
This year , we stimated 40 people.
Luckily , she has a big house. She can easily accommodate them.
Well, it is early in the morning here. I couldn’t sleep. I m very excited about the event. Thanks giving party is fun!!
U get to see all your friends that u barely meet during the year.
You know how things are thesedays with our crazy-busy hectic lives. So , I always cherish events like this.
I have to go there early in the morning. It is a big reception and my friend couod use some extra set of hands to get the prep works done.
I volunteered to help her around the house with cleaning , dusting and setting the table. Well, turns out I had to peel potatos and chop yams.
Well, what are best friends for ? Right

    I have to run folks
    Pete

I m wondering the negotiation with a street vendor is about haggling prices or buying the business.
There is this hot dog stand in the aproxmity of my place I sometimes paritcullsry in winter time get there on my way back home from work to get a hot dog sandwitch or so. The problem is his pricing is s tad steep compared to other sausage stands.
I m telling you ,i suspect he is doing price gouging. Well,I don’t appreciate it. But ,the location is very convenient.
U know I got one or two. because it is located just one block away from my place I get to go home and eat them at the comfort of my place in front of Tv.
It is an advantage point specially in winter time. So , I don’t mind if I pay one dollar or so extra per sandwitch.

I ,like Jeff ,love hotdogs. I know ,it is not a healthy food. Well , it is one of my vices.
I m too lazy to make them at home, besides they never turn out as delicious.
Why ? That beats me too
    Perhaps because I m a terrible cook!
You don’t want to know how bad I m.
the sausages never cook through. I mean they get burned out the outside and all pinky and raw on the inside. For some reason, I can’t get the tast right. It tastes always bland. I always feel nasious after.
But , the guy in the vendor makes them yammy.

I really have to go if I wanna go swimming before heading to her place.
I m gonna hear about it if I get to her place late.

    By for now
    Pete
