  1. Yoones says:

    Thanks for everything.

  2. Dan says:

    Hi guys

I just wanted to say thank for 1090.

I enjoyed listening to Jeff’s explanation of nutshell that seems plausible to me. It could be.

One other thing I wanted to add is when the guy in the script choses and picks, about that, I have often heard the term cherry-picking.
Meaning: you get what you like and drop what you do not. I like that word.

It’s also interesting, at least for us regular listeners, to get to know Jeff better. In this episode we learn Jeff used to watch Doctor Who.

The only thing I have to say about the script is that we do not need to wait the future to have cold and impersonal situations.
Most of us do not probably know their neighbor across the street, and yet we are able to communicate across the world.
But, I do not want to give to that a negative connotation. I mean, a cold and impersonal relationships could perhaps be necessary and good in some cases.

Anyways, just some thoughts and practice.
    Have a nice Sunday everyone

  3. Tania says:

Hi! The World Figure Skating Championships 2015, China, has just finished.
    A wonderful show on ice!
Congratulations, Emiliano, for Javier Fernandez, the golden boy!

  4. Tania says:

Hi! People win money using funny little dogs for advertising on Internet. I saw on TV.
Grumpy is one of the most beautiful little dogs.
Is Grumpy, the name of the dwarf from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, synonymous with “the grouch”?

  5. Tania says:

Hi! The Sound of Music (English Cafe 480/ December 2014)…
We can add The Sound of Music’s 50 Anniversary. The Sound of Music is a 1965 American musical drama film
with the stars Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer.
The film won five Academy Awards including Best Picture displaced Gone with the Wind.
Now Christopher Plummer is 85 and Julie Andrews 79.
The title from a magazine :
For Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer, The Sound of the Music was never
    “So long, Farewell”.
I think The Sound of the Music is my favourite movie.

    Thank you, Jeff.

  6. Tania says:

Hi! Madona and Taylor Swift performed The Sound of the Music show, at iHeartRadio Music Awards 2015.

By the way, do you know that Taylor Swift has insured her legs for the amount of 40 million of dollars?

  7. emiliano says:

Thank you Tania, we, Cuca and me, have watched him several times.
It is just incredible that Javier Fernandez Lopez, born in Madrid 1991, has
won the WorldChampionIce skating having in mind there is not tradition
    her of this sport.

Congratulations indeed, thank you Tania, it is beautiful to watch him
listening the Rossini´s Opera Overtura “El Barbero de Sevilla”.
