    Hi everyone,

I would like to suggest, what I think to be a good You Tube channel to my fellow learners.

I think it is great especially for English learners because there are mother tongue speakers being asked lots of questions and they have to give their opinion and reactions to different things. Mostly viral videos.

Moreover, the videos are often funny or cute when answering are kids.

The channel is called TheFineBros but you can easily find that looking for “Kids react to” I love the once where Kids react to old technology or Cats videos.
Then they also have Teen react to and Elderly react to.

Looking at the Teen and then looking at the Elderly videos you can also see the difference in language they are using.

Have fun! Thanks and have a nice weekend.

  2. Peter says:

    Hi Dan,
I see that you beat Emiliano to it. If my memory serves me correctly. At the time I was an avid reader of the blog , it was Iliano who did comments fist on time-table post. Now , I can see that you are the one who beats everybody to it.
Dan , what is up with Betty?
I can’t see her around the blog. What gives ?
    Any news of her ?
Man , it nice to be back.
I had missed all the razzing and bickering ,and harsh talk around the blog :)) like we do any of these
    Here ,everybody is super nice!!!
If only , there was such a trend in reall life where time has forgotten and care free pleasure was really free;)
I m in the go-buss to work. It is very interesting every body around me on the buss is deep into his gizmo , I meant the electronic gadget reading sth , or plating some video game. Nobody even look up for the entire time of my trip to the subway. And the subway is worst. It is officially the epidemic case of each to his own :))))
I m getting ipone 6 I preordered this coming Thursday. Man , I can’t wait. I can’t contain in my skin. I heard throug the grapevines that Interaction with iphone 6 is a whole different level. In fact , iphone 6 is my new girl friend.
Off I go. Everything can’t wait but work

  3. Peter says:

Hi Ban, thanks for the info on the new paradigm. I will look it up for sure
But , there is another channel as u put it for English learners. The mane of the program is “TED.” Not the radio one. It is a series of video clips on professional lectures on everything. I mean everything from politics to science frontier.
It is not a radio channel it is short lectures. They are very educational and helpful English wise. It is a good jump start for the learners.
They are a series of sophisticated upscaled lectures.
Time in and take away a lot.
    Thanks Ben for the tip
    I
Will look into it too see what the channel has to say:)

I m on the subway waiting for the signals to comes on so I can send it up there on the page.
    No reception down here.
    I m going to work
I hate Monday mornings. Man, all I want on Monday mornings is to sleep in. I always rolled out of bed on Monday morning. I always cut my morning ritual to half so I can sleep just 10 minutes more. The thing is I set the clock for 7:15 but when the clock goes off I keep hitting the snooze button and curse. I still didn’t work up the nerve to turn the alarm off:)) I always keep the snooze button. “Such a wuss “, you say ,don’t u ?
    Well u snooze u loose.
I really loose. I always have to skip morning shower and breakfast to get to work on time. So, basically I feel starved till lunch break which is either 1 or 2 o’clock depending how swamped I m with work. I can hear my stomach grumbling the entire time.my stomck
Keep making noise and I keep cursing till lunch break time. Basically , all I do on Mondays is a lot of cursing and a bit of working.
Man , I hate Monday morning and everything it represents. Sorry upfront , if I made so
Many typos. Well , I m still half sleep.
I dozed off two times before I started here.
How do u handle Monday mornings? All grumpy like me or you are energetic and fresh ?

Pete ,a student reaching you from Ontario Canada.

  4. Parviz says:

    Hi every body,
First, giving a thumbs up to ESL group for their non-stoping effort.
We are in the homestretch of 2014, and I hope all your resolutions have come true.
Secondly, Telling a story of a trip we took, say, 12 years ago with an elderly about 70 years old, at the time.
We (a small group of newly-graduated boys) took a long (three-days) hike with this incredible guy.
He footsteps was as long as 1.2 meters and he could walk for as long as a daytime, without stopping.
It was surprising how he managed to keep healthy, a difficult task for every man above the prime age.
None of the graduated boys had experienced that long hiking record before, so we learned a lot from our strong leader.
    …….
That was a good start for any of us. Persistence is most needing thing in the face of difficulty.
Beside learning from him about camping and out-door adventures, we mostly learned about having a right attitude of being capable of doing things.
“you don’t know how capable your before you attempt doing something” he said, “for most people the first step is the hardest”.
“if you can conquer your fear mentally”, he continued, “the physical dominance become much easier”.

I hope you are persistence in all your undertakings.
    Thanks,
    Parviz

  5. Peter says:

1.2 meter such long stride he had Parviz
He must have been a tall guy.
I m at work bored out of my mind. One of those still Mondays at work that nothing is going. Everybody sitting at their cubical sulking. Man , it is depressing. I m all alone today.
No action since morning. And the weather is dismal.
Well , today is one of those days u wanna snuggle to your pillows all day long. U like to time out the world and has nothing to anybody but a cool movie , tv show , or a book that gets you through the day.
Man , I m going home. I don’t care if the fire me the day after.
    It is brutal here.
I m just checking in to see what is going on here.
Seems like today is the day that the world stands still.
    See u
Man , even this blog looks gloomy

  6. Peter says:

    Hi
    Another day another bucket.
    Hello world ,
I m going to take early dose of coffeein hoping it will wake me up. I m up already but I m half sleep. I stayed up last night watching home hunters. It is some sort of reality show about housing and renovation in south California.it is about everyday people and their quest to find their dreamy house. There is always a camera man following mostly newly weds and their realtor in every step of the way towards purchasing a house. What is amaze me most about the show is the price of the houses people look at in order to buy. The price of the houses are ridiculously low. For instance, last night , it was a bout a 24 year-old woman looking for a Spanish-style house in the neighborhood of 17 K in Memphes. Man the houses the realtor showing her were huge and get that within her budget which was 170000 They were old. Mostly were built in 1938 and In dire need of revocation.still ,considering the size and the amenity of the houses , they were basement prices. Just imaging 170000 ( 17 K) for a 400000 square feet house. Man , it was a steal.
I m wondering how the prices of houses are so low in that part of US?
Any body care to venture ? I mean answer me. My best bet is they are all foreclosure houses.
    Yours

  7. Marcos says:

    Hi everybody

why when I hear this podcast ( 1040 ) I remember my country! Great words to describe any government in anywhere. lol

    Have a nice week Jeff

  8. Marcos says:

    Hi everyone again

I get more confidence to write a little more lol. So, High school reunion is very unusual in my country and I’m so glad for that. I agree with Jeff about that and after so many years after my graduation I don’t believe more in an invite.
As always new word, thank you Jeff and your staff.

    Nice work

  9. Dan says:

    Hey Pete,

What can I tell you? I do not watch those TVs reality shows.
It is rare that I find myself in front of the TV set. I am always on that mine gold that is You Tube.
Why do’t you create your own channel? I am gonna be your first subscraiber.
You have to be entertaining though.

    Thanks. Bye!
