  1. Peter says:

    Lesson number “763”
    Must be very practical.
Every condo building and some town-house compounds across Canada managed by superintendent ,super if you will.
They get one apartment usually ground floor for free and some salary in exchange for their rendition around the building.
They take care of bits and pieces around the premises.
They take care of dumpsters, they call in contractors for repairs and do on.
In fact,They are the point of contact with all the contractors who do repairs and take care of inflicted damages around the building and in unites.
They have a master key suitable for all the apartment doors in the building they are in charge for,in case of emergency.
they sometimes are the medium through whitch the residences communicate their concerns with the management and board members.
They are typically trained handy people, and have a good report with the dweller of the building they are hold acountable for.
They are literally the Jake of all trades.
Rental buildings like condo buildings have castadions ,although the word ,”custodian “is common more for school janitors than building supers.
To sum up , commercial building( the term referring to not condo and rental buildings) have one or two janotors. For most cases couples ( spouses) take care of the building. They devy up the tasks. Guys usually do the leg work and ladies usually take care of the corresponding affairs.

    By for now
