    Hi,

Thank you for your nice wishes, dear ESLPod. com.

  2. Tania says:

    Hi,

    “Waiting, watching, listening always
With full hearts and tender eyes,
    While our little household angels,
White and golden in the sun,
Greet us with the sweet old welcome, –
    MERRY CHRISTMAS, every one!”

Merry Christmas by Louisa May Alcott, English Cafe 555

  3. Tania says:

    Hi,

    “Precious Lord, take my hand,
Lead me on, let me stand,
I am tired, I am weak, I am worn.
Through the storm, through the night
Lead me on to the light,
    Take my hand, precious Lord,
    Lead me home. ”

Take My Hand, Precious Lord by Thomas A. Dorsey, English Cafe 582

  4. Tania says:

    Hi,

    “When the darkness appears
    And the night draws near,
And the day is past and gone
At the river I stand ,
Guide my feet, hold my hand,
    Take my hand, precious Lord
    Lead me home… ”

    Hi,

    O Come, All Ye Faithful

    “O come, all ye faithful
    Joyful and triumphant
O come ye, o come ye to Bethlehem
    Come and behold him
Born take the king of angels
O come let us adore him
    Christ the Lord.”

O Come, All Ye Faithful, a gospel song considered the best song for Christmas.

ye means you, and to behold means to see

  6. Tania says:

    Hi,

    “Sings choirs of angels
    Sing in exaltation
    Oh sing all ye rivals
    Of heaven above
Glory to God, glory in the highest
O come let us adore him
    Christ the Lord.”

O Come, All Ye Faithful, a gospel song from the Elvis Presley’s repertory.

  7. Tania says:

    Hi,

Dear Jeff, thank you for talking to us about the gospel music, about the Father of black Gospel music, Thomas A. Dorsey, in English Cafe 582.
I know nothing about the gospel music, but I like the Elvis Presley’s
    gospel songs.
This is the reason for that I have written the lyrics of the gospel song,
O Come, All Ye Faithful, to share them with our blog friends
even if we have other religion.
    It’s a “classic” like you’d say.

    Merry Christmas!

    All the best for you,

    Tania
