Jokes: An Irish Toast
I thought I would comment on a joke I found, since everyone enjoys a good laugh now and then (occasionally). I put a general explanation on the left side of the page which you can read to give you some background information. Read that first, then read the joke. Finally, read “The Joke Explained” on the bottom, right side of the page to see if you understood it correctly.
Enjoy!

That’s a good web site “The Occasional Joke” a short, humourous break as it says, there are a lot of different topic jokes, good.
This one you have picked up is difficult, if you don’t explain it sure I don’t understand anything.
Thanks Jeff.

sorry, i still don’t get the joke. Why the blonde says “Oh. In that case, here’s to bread, eggs and cinnamon.”?

What´s the meaning of “to” in “here´s to bread”? Shouldn´t read “here´s THE bread”?

Hi Frank,
“Here’s to bread” is correct since they are saying a toast
