    Hi.

I thought podcast 1184 Being Boastful was about Donald Trump.

    Thanks.

  2. Aecio Flavio Perim says:

I knew it would be good as always. All my interest on it. Thanks, teacheres.
    Aecio

  3. Dan says:

    Hello.

    This is for cats lovers.

Yesterday I was watching a video. Meanwhile I was also touching my cat’s
belly. At a certain point my cat grabbed my hand with his forelegs while kicking with his hindlegs and also biting.
Have you noticed that kangaroos do the same move?
The only difference is that roos do that standing.
They grab the victims with their hands and kick with the feets standing for a second on their strong tail.
I wonder what other kind of animal is able to carry out that move.
    Probably monkeys.
Anyway, sorry just thoughts of someone sharing his own life with a couple of lovely cats.

  4. Pete says:

  5. Dan says:

    Hi.

Today, Sunday 21, was a warm beautiful day.
I went outside for a walk and saw my first yellow butterfly
going from one little flower to the other.
The skye looked really clear blue with lovely white clouds.
Resting in the sun was really nice.

    Thanks

  6. Pete says:

  7. Tania says:

    Hi,
Thank you Peter for your detailed explanation about Canadian taxes and price tags, and of course,
    for your native humour.
I like to know more about life from every country.
Our blog friends can tell more on this topic, even if our goal is to learn about American culture.

  8. Aris TOKPON says:

I would like to receive daily lessons via mail

  9. Tania says:

    Hi,
I don’t have any cat , but I love cats, their warm and friendly eyes.
I have understood that touching the fur of a cat is anti stress.
Yesterday, visiting my neighbours, their cat that loves me as I love it , too, came in my lap grabbing my hand.
So nice, so warm, but… he left on my black trousers quite a lot of hair from his fur
and a lot of hair flew in the air near my cake. I am sure that I ate cake with cat hair and I breathed it.
I am a cat and dog lover but outdoor lover.
I understand you, Dan, this is your hobby.
Thank you for your short and nice stories.

  10. Tania says:

    Hi,

Flowers, butterflyes, blue sky… a real spring!
Not yet in my country. Next month. But with these unusually temperatures… who knows?

  11. Tania says:

    Hi,

Dear Aecio, maybe you can tell more about Zika virus from your country.
I know about this problem from TV news.
I am sorry as it is dangerous for all of us.

  12. Tania says:

    Hi,
Learn English Magazine, issue No. 14…
Work would be great without coworkers, Jeff says.
He is right, but without a special coworker: a social butterfly, a gossip, a workaholic,
    a malcontent, a passive-aggressive, a narcissist, a suck-up, a backstabber, a disruptive person.
We all have something from those above mentioned. There is nobody without a sin.
But to be permanently a backstabber or a disruptive person…this is unbelievable.
Unfortunately I have met , I have worked with backstabbers and disruptive persons with
repercussions for a long time. They can affect your family, your health…
The most dangerous persons in a company.

  13. Tania says:

    Hi,

And I felt, yes, I felt that “hell is other people”, like Jean-Paul Sartre said.
Thank you for the opportunity of accessing comments about Hell.
Hell appears in several mythologies (and in my religion, too) is a place of punishment in an afterlife,
inhabited by demons and the souls of dead people.
Punishment in Hell corresponds to sins commited during life.
Hell from the Divine Comedy by Dante is the most famous.
I have to recognize that I have not read the Divine Comedy.

  14. Tania says:

    Hi,
Click on article from The Wall Street Journal, we find an essay on “The Value of Annoying Co-workers”,
how to handle the annoying co-workers in your life.
There is and an related video, “How to Deal With a Workaholic Boss”,
office mates harm office life or even productivity.
    Very interesting.
    Thank you, dear Jeff.

    All the best for you.

  15. Lisa says:

    Hi,

when I got up this morning and looked out of my window, I had an awe-inspiring winter view. The trees, the houses, the grass, the whole landscape was covered with a thick layer of snow. No not really, I exaggerate 😉
Here in my country, Germany, actually did fall snow today in the morning but not so much, although now in the early afternoon there are still several white spots. I don’t exactly know, but I think this is the first snow this year. That’s because we had an unusually warm winter, maybe an effect of global warming…

    Greetings, Lisa

  16. Dan says:

    Hey Lisa!

This is Dan, just south of the Alps.
That’s right, this year’s winter was dry and relatively warm.
As I wrote earlier Sunday looked like spring already.

    Bye.

  17. Aecio Flavio Perim says:

Hello, Tania, about zica virus there is a lot of stories but I don’t believe in medicine. The truth is that no one knows deeply about viruses, especially zica, because it is new in the world. They are terrible when they infect a person. Doctors and scientists are still searching in the dark for a vaccine. One thing I can say for sure, avoid the mosquito bite.
Aecio from the beautiful Brazil, where there is no sin.

  18. Aecio Flavio Perim says:

Tania, zica is democratic, it can bite anyone no matter who they are. Be careful.
    Aecio

  19. Aecio Flavio Perim says:

If I can help more just keep in touch.
    Aecio

  20. Mari Carmen says:

Hello, Aecio, i’ve heard in the news today that it can also be advisable to avoid unsafe sexual relations.
Anyway, I think that Tania asked you for the impact of the zika virus in your country, not for your beliefs… it doesn’t matter: the important thing is exchanging, isn’t it
    Thanks

  21. Aecio Flavio Perim says:

I knew it would be good, ESL Podcast 1185 – Smuggling Across Borders, very good. Yhanks, teachers,
    Aecio

  22. Aecio Flavio Perim says:

Hello, Mary Carmem, about infection by zica virus during sexual relations, it is still doutful. The science is still searching and nothing is definite, but to be careful with sexual relations is always advisable. After all, you must take a good care about your body. Be happy.
    Aecio

  23. Mari Carmen says:

    Sure, Aecio

  24. Aecio Flavio Perim says:

    Waiting for tomorrow.
    Aecio
