    Dear Citizens of Eslpod ,
I understand that we had a forum rather discussion about Applications on the latest blog post.
I just wanna draw your attention to one app as an accessory to Eslpod. I have been using the app for years and I have managed to gather all the invaluable (thanks to Lucy for the term) English lessons on Learning guid from the day one in the app as a collection , all numerically ordered in one file .i recalled talking about it on one of my pervious comments encouraging you guys specially my dear classmates who are a member of learning guid to take on the application.

    The application is called “PDFReader.”

I strongly suggest you get the app which is for free. The app enables you to collect all the existing lessons provided in leaning guide orderly in one place and the beauty of it is : once downloaded the lessons in the app ,you no longer need the use of data , or any Internet access to enjoy the lessons-that is-you don’t consume any data reading them everywhere you go . Just for a second stop and think about it. Imagine you have a written version of all Jeff’s audio lessons and Lucy’s scripts and a lot of additional Lessons meant for Learning guide’s members all of that is right in your pocket into your phone and you can read them to your heart’s content whenever your heart desires. Tell me what beats a laid-back hour at a local coffee house reading not audio Jeff and Lucy but documented Jeff and Lucy with special features such as:
    1) Glossary : an intimate and detailed explanation of all the terms and words discussed In every lesson with valuable examples for every entery
2)What insider know : a one page-long note on a subject relevant to the lesson at hand
What else does it mean : additional practical definition regarding the most common terms discussed in a given lesson
Culture note section (my favorite ,given I live in North America): one page-long note with regard to the contemporary American culture
Perhaps, I should put my review on the app in Yelp. What do u think Lucy ? :))

P.S.The app is fool proof , another words ,easy to use

    The Nerd :))

    Guys ,
Every time I m in a line up waiting for my turn or siting ideally in a movie theater waiting for the movie to start or when I m on the bus , in the train ,or on the subway I take out my iPhone and turn an unproductive time to a productive one by reading rather studying our one and only “Learning Guid.”

  3. Betty says:

Thanks Peter, I am waiting for the cross harbour ferry to come to Wan Chai Ferry Pier and take me to Tsim Sha Tsui.

I used the 10 minutes to read your message and I am writing this message with the time available, just like you.

You are absolutely right, the PDF apps is excellent. I download my Learning Guides and they are in my iphone’s PDF app as well.

Got to go, the ferry is here.

    Betty 🙂
