Interview about ESL Podcast on Czech Website

Czech Website

I was interviewed by a website in the Czech Republic about ESL Podcast. If you are interested in reading the interview from earlier this year, you can read it here. The questions and answers are all in English.

I talk about the podcast in general and specifically about the nature of (the basic principles of) language acquisition, related to the post last week on learning phrasal verbs.

Congratulations Jeff, you are good knowed all over Europe, and in The Czech Republic there are lots of people that speak English quite well. I have been over there just on june 1996 and it is a marvellous country. The most beatifull city one may imagine exists: It is Prague. And thanks to the English lenguage I could manage very well with people from that good country.
Congratulations again Jeff and Lucy for all you have done together for people that love English.
Because it is incredible the results of listening to ESL along a year day by day, like me, before listened to ESL I could scarcely understand easy conversations, no more, but now all is different. Just now I am listening to an audiobook previously readed, quite difficult of course, and I can understand it good enough, it is crazy and incredible. Yesteday it was a song of Michael Jackson on the radio “and I was understanding all the lirics that before didn’t” without efford.
Thanks a lot, and recomend to all Czech people to listen ESl podcast.
