  1. Tania says:

Hi! I am very, very proud of the Romanian Simona Halep.
Still Serena Williams beat Simona Halep in Singapore to win her fifth WTA Tour Finals title in Singapore 2014 Tennis.
    A perfect ending for Serena.
Halep stunned Williams 6-0, 6-2 on Wednesday – Serena’s worst beating
    in more than 16 years.

  2. Tania says:

    Hi! May I praise myself?
On October8th, Sweden’s Royal Academy of Science awarded the Nobel prize in chemistry to three scientists:
Eric Betzig and William Moerner of the US, and Stefan Hell of Germany, for their work .
Their techniques can be used to study cellular processes as they happen.
A technique called electron microscopy can resolve far smaller details than can optical microscopy.
The approaches pioneered by Drs Hell, Betzig and Moerner allow scientists to watch proteins,
or to see individual neurons create and prune connections to other neurons.

    The great surprise?
Stefan Hell was born in Romania. He attended primary school and one year of secondary education in Romania
    before leaving to West Germany.

  3. Tania says:

Hi! And Herta Muller, a German-Romanian novelist, poet, essayist, received
the 2009 Nobel Prize in Literature.
