This weekend is a long weekend. Today is Thanksgiving day. Technically , last night was thanksgiving. Well, on Sundays people are typically off. So , the Government do the Monday to give people one extra off day for thanks giving.
People tend to go binge eating on Thaksgiving eve. So , they need to have Monday off to digest all the food they literally gulp down.
Man it is all about eating and nothing else.
It is a change of course for what really thanksgiving about and is supposed to represent.
