    Sunday thoughts.

Sometimes when contracted a virus, cancer, or a long illness, called “sickness” to the situation that generates, but not well applied the epithet.
In many cases when pain or ill symptoms appear is usually too late and I think in some ways this is similar to the situation that our society is experiencing at this time.
The problems, deprivation, lack of work, lack of illusions, not perceived because there existed almost no one outside. We lived outside the inner evil was brewing.

Afterward I have read, we are not Portugal, we are not Ireland….so yes, we are Spain, at least for now, may be in future we will be not, we´ll be some other different lands as Andelucia, Cataluña, or Castilla….who knows?.

Now many in France or Italy, say they are not Spain.
No one wants to be Spain just now, better said since two years ago.
What about Italy at the moment?. They are more or less the same like us.
Old countries, old culture, but lot of corruption everywhere ….Why?.

It seems old countries like old bodies are too much corrupted after living so many time, having so old culture, evidently knowing so much as and old person could know after living eighty years or even more.
What about us, we want to be Spain?. I think some of the Spanish called not want to be in Spain. I am, I was born here and I can not do anything to that effect.
I’ve heard quite often say (to a professor of economics) that the best friend of man (and woman “obviously how could it be otherwise”) is the “Scape-goat” …..or something similar not to feel guilty about nothing.

Yes, the “scapegoat” which are always above the rest …. the politicians, banks, speculators, current politicians who neither know nor think, Tom, Dick, teaching, fifth neighbor but not me…. ..What about us?,

When evil came it was almost incurable, in fact terrible in its tragic consequences.

The problems began by storm, were unstoppable, forceful. Loss of employment, complete absence of wasteful spending or unnecessary trouble buying the essentials, and was rule restricting food and clothing as much as possible by trying to pay off mortgages as finally in spite of all, loss of many homes and countless of desperate people, lack of future expectations and actual prompt solution.
It is a shame that something that seemed far, it did not hurt or was simply unimaginable presented in our in full force and effect have been so devastating.

Earlier I heard over and over again “we are not Greece” and back to the same thing “we are not Greece” because I go I thought that was obvious.
We do not have history or we are the source from which sprang much of Western culture has been Greece years ago.
Greece is and will always be admired for what it represents in our past.

What about us?, we have or do not have any guilt or responsibility in what was happening now?.
When someone warned of hidden evil we care about something or keep spending and up borrowing at full speed if you want to look or see the obvious of situation was coming.

For me it is clear that almost nobody wanted to do anything, and even some that warned of the situation called “pessimistic”, “ominous” in even “unpatriotic”.If the situation were not as dramatic for many persons it would not be without some good lessons.
Be alert, don´t spend what you don´t have, save something when you can, don´t be so sure about your future, don´t take to much loans, and so on.I conclude that it is very clear that politicians, managers, entrepreneurs are not therapists, (Greek for “therapeutes” oh, yes, we Greeks after all as our language and culture has much of Greece) as if therapist were every one who takes the power.

Politicians, bankers and entrepreneurs can not or do not know how to cure a sick body, the social body groans and pains of countless evils.
It is a task of ourselves to be up from the hole without thinking any more in scape-goats.

It is a pity that instead of having politicians do not have therapists or healers they know how to treat this social body so sick as a person could be treated too.
I hope work and health for all readers, at lest next future as today it is really difficult.

Hope is the last to die.
I know that since years my dear Blog friends.

  2. Dan says:

    Hello everyone,

That’s the truth! at times i do not understand what they are saying.
Mostly it happens with British English, since my hear it “tuned” to Jeff’s accent.

That’s why sometimes as a change I listen to something different.
Just yesterday I was looking at these videos on Youtube of a British comedian named Ricky Gervais. He made me laugh.

    Have a nice week.

  3. Dan says:

This one is for the Blog’s women. They know more of this kind of stuff.

I am trying to stop buying and use Shampoo. I have discovered that has a name, is called -No poo.-, and I am not the only one trying that.
I just started the other day. I washed my hair with: Baking Soda and Apple Vinegard.
Have you ever tried that or something similar?

    Thank you Girls.

  4. Tania says:

Hi! I had the unpleasant surprise to find out that my favourite shampoo was a fake.
So, I started to use baby shampoo, baby soap for his Ph, and even mild and soft baby oil for my sensitive skin of my face.
It is good the baby shampoo having the tear-free formula.

Some girls use the vinegar to confer shining to the hair. But I don’t like the smell of the vinegar and never use it.

  5. Tania says:

Hi! I like very much the children songs. We have many kindergartens with English language teaching and those for VIP, and not only,
    with English teaching staffs.
And our English teachers are very good, many of them are studying in England or even in the U.S.
Thanks to many learning projects they have many, many possibilities travelling, studying in other countries.
But for our children, the English animated cartoons are very important.
They are watching and watching them all day long if it is possible.

  6. Tania says:

Hi! I have not known “Little Bunny Foo Foo” but I think it is a very nice and instructive children’s song.
Especially the version where the Good Fairy says:
    “Little bunny Foo Foo
    I don’t like your attitude
    …………………………….
    I’ll give you three chances.
Then I’ll turn you into a goon!”

And the moral of the story is a very, very interesting play on words:
“hare today, goon tomorrow” and ” here today, gone tomorrow”.
    It sounds frightful!

  7. Tania says:

Hi! Many , many problems with our manners, maybe with our bad manners.
    Can you believe me?
I have “Complete Guide to Executive Manners ” by Letitia Baldrige (a very known American author) and “The Code of Good Manners” by a Romanian author in my book-case.
Do I follow the rules of the “etiquette”?
    I’m afraid I don’t.
So, I apologize for my mistakes as I don’t be turned into a goon.

I would like to be a Good Fairy. Poof!

Thank you, dear Jeff, for this good manners lesson.

  8. Tania says:

Hi! Dear Emiliano, thank you for sharing with us all your thoughts.
The reality is “ugly” and uncertain.

  9. emiliano says:

Thank you Tania, yes reality is so ugly and even worst just you said the right
    Word…..uncertain.
It´s funny, now I have discorver how o translate my thoughts to other languages
different from Spanish or English, I may translate, without knowing what I am
    saying to:

    Russian
    German
    French
    Chinese

or even more: I was thinking in Romanian because I have a friend talking
this langeage and she could said me how the work, the translation, is.
What do you think about that?.
    My best dear Fairy. emiliano

  10. Nele says:

    Hi emiliano,

thank you for this valuable insight in the situation. This blog is very helpful to understand a little bit more the background, the feelings of the people in other countries … from Asia, South America, Europe, around the world.
Some young Spanish people are coming to Germany, looking for jobs, sending home money. They learn the language and tell their stories. It is very instructive for me.
I hope for Spain, for all young people, I hope for Europe.

Here is an song with the words: … Where nothing is starts everything….
    Hope, visions and good luck.
    Nele
