  1. Dan says:

    Hey everyone.
Just stopped by to say hello.
That doesn’t cost anything, just my brain sending the signal to my fingers to type this on my phone.

Right now I am sitting on a bench and in front of me I see the lake and a mountain that’s turning green.
I can see all this from above. I am at 2/300 meters above the lake and half way the mountain.
I brought with me a green apple that I am going to eat as I am done here.
I like this place, and I visit here almost every day. It takes me 30 minutes to reach the place up on the mount.
I saw a squirrel twice. That was beautiful.
I am going to leave some apple for him on the ground.

What do you guys do on Sundays?

    Bye! 🙂

  2. peter says:

    Hey Dan ,
    Treading water on Sundays
    I m leading a solitary life.
I m not a lone wolf. It just happened like that.
    It gets so lonely sometimes

    By now

  3. lili:) says:

    Hi Dan & Peter

I started my Sunday yesterday reading English news only to give myself reason to stop reading news because “no news is good news”.

Then I went to my local library to try to catch up with my English learning. The library has a students’ self study room which is much needed for many students who are preparing for their exams.

I didn’t go to the study room. I went to the area where the library put two small desks and chairs close to some electric sockets. This area is designated for people who want to get electricity for their own computers. Perfect for me!

Like you Dan & Peter, I lead a solitary life, inside.

It is almost impossible for me to go hiking alone like you two. Hong Kong is not short of mountainous areas, but I’m scared to go to anywhere that I can’t see people around. There is an expression “People Mountain, People Sea” in Hong Kong. Those are the mountains and seas that I go to every now and then.

Dan did you only eat a green apple yesterday? I only ate vegetables and noodles for the whole day. There was some meat on the table, but I chose to skip it because I think I had enough meat on Saturday.

Anyway, I would like to end my writing here today by thanking you both for inspiring me to write more. Writing is my only closest companion now.

    Please take care

    lili:)

  4. Dan says:

    Hi Pete!

Today, Monday, I am here again, same bench, another apple.
I am glad to see that the part of the apple I left yesterday is gone. That makes me happy.

    Thanks.:-)

  5. Dan says:

    Hi Lili.

It’s lovely reading from you! thanks. Please, if you can, try to write more.

I did have more beside that apple on Sunday. The apple it’s just to have something as I reach the place where I sit down and relax thinking or just looking around.

    Bye! peace.

  6. Aecio Flavio Perim says:

    We are waiting for it.

  7. Marcos says:

    Hi everyone
    ( ESL 499 )

I’m happy to this podcast because I live in Americana city of Brazil and next sunday I’ll go to a party, yes, “Festa dos Confederados” in Santa Barbara do Oeste. People here say that south American brought to here the watermelon too. Americana city had three flags, the first, second and today flag, in each one you can see something about the South Americans immigration and your culture.

Thank you Jeff and have a nice day
