Thanks Peter, your message about Buffalo has inspired me to click on the map to see where Buffalo is.

It is amazing, it only takes you two hours to drive from Toronto in Canada to Buffalo in the US.

I can imagine the happiness when you can pick up something cheaply in the malls.

But do you call US$80 cheap for a pair of pants? It can last me 10 months on a subscription to ESLPOD.Com.

I rather learn English than wear the expensive pants. All my clothes are bought from the small outlet shops in the back streets of Hong Kong.

They usually are surplus export garments which are of excellent quality. They are sold for about US$2 to US$4 and they are normally far too big for me. I have to alter the size before I can wear them.

Thanks again Peter, I am very happy to learn about all these good places for shopping. I will go there one day, and I will be thinking of you when I do.

This weekend is a long weekend in Canada. The cocasion is ” Labor Day.”
Labor Day is marked as a joyous occasion every year on the first Monday of September.
It was originally viewed as a chance for workers to campaign for better work conditions ,and more importantly pay.
Historically speaking , The idea of Labor Day derived from the notion of recognizing worker’s rights.
But , nowadays , it has changed to sth totally different. People mostly see the fist Monday of September as a last chance for a summer trip rather excursion. They usually go out of town to privately own or rental cottages with their family and close friends to have picnics , enjoy nice compony ,and watch the fire works that marks the end of Labor Day every year.
This year ,my friends and I have a totally different plan from what normally goes down on Labor Day.
We plan to go to Buffalo in U.S. and spend the day mall hopping ) in order to buy some clothing and shoes for next summer.
As you might know, Buffalo is a great place for garment shopping.
The prices down there is amazing that how big of a bang you get down there for your bucket!!
You can buy a pair of pants for 80 dollars that typically sells for 200 hundreds in Canada. Buffolo has become the shopping destination of many Canadians.
The thing is ,seems like everybody had the same thought when they wake up this morning. We are at the border gate towards Buffalo and we got stuck in a big car line up.
I guess ,we gonna be stuck here for another one hour or two.
Man ,I didn’t see it coming.

It is highly probable ,that you guys ,at least a great number of you have heard about the acronym “TIFF” that is the abbreviation of ” Toronto Intentional Film Festival.”
TIFF is one the most reputable publicly attended film festivals. The film festival is held every year in early September, in downtown Toronto . TIFF usually last for around 11 ,12 days.

A 12-festive days that attracts a large number of Torontonians as well as tourists from other countries to downtown core the place where the most part of relevant events and ceremonies take place . Every year , an exceeding number of 250-300 hundreds films are screened. They are made available to public in more than 30 movie theaters.

Every year ,people line up for hours at the movie theaters to watch their favorite movies, the movie that they have kept their eyes on for quite long time.Most of the film that are screened In TIFF are not-yet-released movies. talk about adrenaline rush !! Don’t you think guys ?:)

Toronto International Film Festival has become an ideal place for film producers to premiere their movies as TIFF has become one the most influential film festival throughout the world.It is an 11-12 happy days , you see a large number of people hanging rather milling around in downtown area eating , drinking , watching movies and above all gawking at celebrities they spot. Believe me or not,star-Gazing has become one of the most enjoyable entertainmemt activity at the film festival.

Unlike L.A. that seemingly staring at celebrities is a serious faux pas , in Toronto, people have developed a culture for it. I mean ,here even eye-balling elebrities is a socially acceptable behavior. As a matter of fact , it is par for the course.:))))
every year during the film festival you see a large number of people mostly youngsters in particular young girls spends hours and hours waiting impatiently at the entrance of the hotels that accomodates celebrities just to see a glance of them , or if they get lucky ,they may catch the celebrities as they are walking out of the hotels.

need less to say , Every year my friends and I make sure , we don’t miss the crowd of people around the hotels . After all, you don’t wanna miss out on catching a glance of celebrities knowing that there gonna be a lot of beautiful girls in the crowd doing the same.:))

I am particularly looking forward to this year star-gazing event ,as I don’t have any girlfriend at the moment ) hope i won’t bum this time

P.S. last year, I caught up to George Clooney as he walked out a Sushi Bar. I gotta tell you , he is as charming as he appears in his movies. He is a very nice guy.
