  2. Peter says:

    Fellow citizen of eslpod,
    I
Have the strangest story ever , for you.
You know , there is a three-story mall in down core of Toronto called “Eaton Center.”
In fact , it is one of the major tourist attractions here in Toronto. The mall is a mega mall . Everyday thousands of people visit the mall for different purpouses such as shopping , haging out ,having food or even having some drink.
It is a shopping center for the most part , though.
It is literally one of the land marks of downtown Toronto that draws a singnificant number of tourist everyday in downtown Toronto, particularly in summer time.
It is situated in the heart of Tornto close to the business district in the King street.
About Two months ago, at the food court of the Eaton center ,where typically houndreds of people hanging there at all time of the day ,a gun shooting took place and the result was some injured , some casualties, and ofcourse ,some survival. Among the survives, there was a young girl age 24.
According to the press , she narrow scaped the invident with a bullet just grazed her arm or sth. How ever,Appearently , it wasn’t then end of the story for her. Guys , you can’t believe what happened to the poor girl last night exactly two mounths after her mishap.
First , I couldn’t Belive my ears , so I had to double check the news. Last night she ,the same girl who scaped the first incident , gun down in Colorado at a club or sth,and pronounced dead at the secne.
Oddly enough , the girl didn’t belong to a gang of some sort. In both , gun scene she was just an innocence who happened to be there.
    Guys ,
What are the odds of this happening
The whole story reminded me of the movie called “Destiny 4.”
In the movie, a group of young fellows scape their death and later on they got killed one by one in some sort of accidents.
I mean , guys , it is the strangest story or what ?
Seems like , fait had it in for her.

I mean , what are the odds,

    Yours

  3. Peter says:

She had a narrow scape the first time
And the second time she wasn’t given a chance
I mean, it is sad !
    Don’t you think?

  4. Betty says:

    I am with you, Peter.

I read the news last night and I felt deeply sorry for the girl and all the other victims and their families also.

I could not help but think, really, fate is something controlling our lives.

But why like this?  Why can’t we have a better world?

  5. Peter says:

    You said it ,Betty

    Sometimes ,Life is too much
It throws at us more than we can handle.
You know her family must be devastated by the news.
Just , imagine, one goes on a trip for pleasure and has a lot of fun, relaxing things lined up for theirs to do and sth horrific messes everything up.
It is so sad that I feel heavy.

    Yours

  6. fermin sosa says:

It has been a very big help. I like to hear audio in english so I improve my comunication skills

  7. Peter says:

I was impatiently waiting for the latest Batman movie to come out so I would be the first among many who watch the movie.
The movie past it’s first weekend on the screen ,yet I can’t see it in me to go watch the movie.
    I don’t think I ever can.
My heart goes out to all the people who suffered through that hrendous incidence.

I admire Mr. Presidebt for all the emotional support he rendered towards the grief-stricken people.

It is sad that we sometimes witness such inhuman ,unseemly conducts.

May God be with them at this time of ordeal and agony.

    Peter
